Michelle is overwhelmed and overjoyed (as usual) to be a part of this incredible team. Michelle is a founding member of Amateur Hour and thinks that is probably why no one was able to fire her before she could reprise her role in the NYC remount. She graduated from Boston University in 2017 with a BFA and a long to-do list. Her most recent projects include the Boston production of Gutenberg! The Musical! (Deb Simon), and the podcast “someone hang out with us!” which she produced and hosted with the effervescent Haley Milano. Michelle has a passion for television and works as a production assistant for HLN’s Crime & Justice. She would like to thank everyone who has ever supported Amateur Hour financially, emotionally, or with their talents, and she is thrilled in a very mischievous way about Amateur Hour’s future endeavors. Stay tuned!

Stephanie is passionate about many things, but Gutenberg! has always been at the top of that list.  She graduated from Boston University’s School of Theatre with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Musical Theatre. Favorite roles include Emily Brennan (The Marriage of Bette and Boo) Graziano (The Merchant of Venice), Ralph (Lord of the Flies), and this one. She studied commedia dell’arte in Arezzo, Italy and comedy has been her sole pursuit since. She is proud to be a founding member of Amateur Hour and cannot wait to continue creating opportunities for women in comedy. www.stephanieocchipinti.com

Layla Wang classically trained as a pianist for 10 years in Taiwan and Paris, with a concentration in percussion and piano. She is recently graduated from the Musician Institute of Keyboard Performance in L.A; there she found passion in Jazz piano and studied with a great jazz pianist Jeff Collela. Now she focuses on musical theater piano, "Gutenberg! The Musical!" is her first show since she moved to New York.

Madeline is thrilled to be working with Amateur Hour on this production of Gutenberg! The Musical! After graduating from Boston University with a BFA in Acting one whole year ago, Madeline performed in several productions around Boston and New York before finding herself a little home on the Upper West Side with several reclusive pet mice and three people. She has loved exploring the city thus far, and looks forward to getting to know its fantastic community of women in comedy that she has been admiring from afar. See her performing next in South Brooklyn Shakespeare's production of The Winter's Tale (technically a comedy) this August.

Lydia Utter was born on a dark and stormy night in November, and has really never been the same since. Her first ever Halloween costume was a clown, so apparently her mother could see into the future. She graduated last year from the Boston University School of Theatre with a BFA in Tomfoolery and Mischief. Her greatest joy in life is making others laugh- whether it’s with silly faces, crude puns, or jokes she’s spent three weeks perfecting in the shower. She hopes you enjoy Gutenberg! The Musical! and if you don’t, she hopes you know exactly where to stick it.
